The Houston Humane Society (HHS) and Whole Foods Market invite Houstonians and their furry friends to Shampooch, a benefit dog wash, May 23, 2009, from 10am – 2pm. Dog owners are encouraged to bring their four-legged friends out for a first class dog wash.

All donations will support the HHS’s efforts in promoting humane treatment towards animals. The event will take place at ALL Houston area Whole Foods Market locations: 2955 Kirby Drive, 4004 Bellaire, 15900 Southwest Freeway in Sugar Land, 11145 Westheimer Rd., 6401 Woodway.

“Dog owners can make a difference while pampering their pets, just by bringing them to this dog wash,” explains HHS Public Relations Director, Lisa Pogue. “This fun event will help continue the vital efforts of the Houston Humane Society, so we hope everyone will bring their pooches!”
