Sammy’s at 2016 Main, home to The Spazmatics, Sammie Relford, Faye Robinson & the Mid City Players, Skyrocket and Rockstar Karaoke, recently announced the venue will be winding down operations effective January 1, 2010. The Spazmatics will be focusing more on their career in their hometown of Austin, TX. While the venue will remain open on Saturday evenings for Sammie Relford and Faye Robinson & the Mid City Players, The Spazmatics will be taking a temporary hiatus from performing regular shows in Houston for the time being. They will still be availble for private booking.

 

Alas, this calls for a goodbye celebration!  The last two Spazmatics shows will be held December 22nd and December 29th. Dust off your 80s gear and head to Sammy's for a reunion with your favorite nerd-inspired cover band. After all, any reason is a good reason to take a trip back a couple decades and sip on some electric lemonade!
